Second and Third Condicional


Second Condicional:



It is used to hypothetical situations and is formed according to the:


If + Past Simple would / could / might + verb

Example: If I won the lottery, I would travel around the world.

  

Third Conditional:

It is used to hypothetical situations in the past and is formed according to the:

If + Past Perfect tense would/could/might + have + past participle

Example: If I had won the lottery, I would have traveled around the world.
